CARMEL — The Carmel High School Planetarium and Carmel High School Astronomy Club will present two showings of the Season of Light Saturday night at the Planetarium.

Forty-minute shows will begin at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children, seniors and high school students.

Planetarium director Keith Turner said this is the eighth year for the show.

“It’s typically one of my most popular shows,” Turner said.

Turner said the multimedia presentation features the world’s most endearing holiday customs including candy canes, candles, Yule logs, holly wreaths, gift giving and merry-making.

Turner said the presentation will help viewers learn about changing seasons, winter constellations and star phenomenon.

The show is suitable for all ages, Turner said.
