Johnson County to offer free H1N1 vaccination clinic
Johnson County officials will hold a free H1N1 vaccination clinic next week in Franklin.
The clinic will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., or until the vaccine runs out, on Nov. 9 in Scott Hall at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, 100 Fairgrounds Street.
Participants are asked to use the western-most entrance to the fairgrounds on Jefferson Street/Ind. 144.
The clinic is open to people in the following high-risk groups established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
- pregnant women;
- household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months old;
- healthcare and emergency medical services personnel;
- all people from 6 months through 24 years of age;
- persons ages 25 through 64 years old who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.
