Radio Radio 6

A nice place to see a band but I have to take some stars off for showing off their political statements. The bumper stickers behind the bar don’t make Bush-lovin Republicans like myself feel to comfortable. However, it is a really cool looking place. Different than most place in Indy.

Indy doesn’t have a lot of great live music venues. Radio Radio is one of the top 2 without question. Perfectly sized for an intimate gathering with great interior design. The owners are 2 of the nicest people you’ll meet and they actually love music. From time to time they’ll get big name national acts but it’s even worth checking out the local acts because of the venue itself. You cannot go wrong seeing a show here.

Our favorite Indy venue. Cool, eclectic atmosphere and a wide offering of different music styles. Good beers on tap, too. It’s a smoke-free environment which may or may not appeal to everyone. Located in Fountain Square which is an area of Indianapolis on the verge of great things. Check their website www.futureshock.net for upcoming shows.
Or, just stop by on almost any Friday or Saturday night and for approx $5 you can have a great time and witness some great live music.

This place is great… classy, cool and full of Indy’s hippest people…

and someday…. it will host the coolest, swingingest, tiki/surf show this town has ever seen!

This is a great venue, I like the intimacy, the seating variety, and that it is Smoke-Free! I’ve enjoyed Melissa Ferrick, Bitch, and Red Light Driver there, among others. Nice variety in music too! Highly recommended =)
