We heart the Monon coffee shop! Down w/ the evil empire around the corner! This place has authentic coffee shop vibe, with yummy treats too!

I drive halfway across town just to get my caffeine fix from the Monon. The staff have always been incredibly friendly, and their coffee is great! I’m definitely a fan of the place.

The best community center in Broadripple. From Zen Philosophy professors to harley riding programmers to Pacific Coast Trail trekking painters to international transplants to spoken word to moms to CEO’s to park tudors to North Central. Its a great hang out.

Friendly baristas that know their stuff to interesting beverages of the month. They usually have interesting artwork as well.

The coffee is good and the tea is very good (I’m a tea drinker mostly). Not to mention that they’re next door to Indianapolis’ only independent book store – Big Hat Books!

I love the Monon!

The Monon is always good always fresh and friendly. The atmosphere is perfect old-school B-Ripple. It is bright and cheery, I am always happy to meet my friends there over a cup. Plain and simple, right.

i like this place, a LOT!!!
sure its an earth toned coffee house in the “hip” part of town, but really, its the best coffee house in the city. sorry abbey, you’re not as awesome.

from a tight little espresso to the most mouth-watering of fruit smoothies, the monon has got what it takes to make you a fan. the bakery items always taste fresh (because they are) and the fruit is somehow never bruised. its kid friendly, elderly friendly, punk friendly, yuppie friendly. where else are you going to find a friend like that? nowhere.

skilled baristas (some of the most creative people this city has to offer) serve you amazing drinks you can only wish you could make at home. yea, they’re cooler than most people, but that comes through in your beverage. delicious, fantastic, and way better than that chain up the street.

Definitely one of my favorite places to visit during the summer time. While I mostly go for the beer selection, the food is pretty good too.

Karaoke on Sunday nights make this place awesome. Definitely a great time, and some good ( and some really, really bad ) singers.

I can't speak for others' experiences but I've always been treated well there. I just can't afford to eat there as often as I'd like.
