O'Charley's (6111 N. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis, IN)3
This is a great food chain place, one that I missed when I was living in Orlando. The main great thing about this place is the rolls are really good! They have a very nice selection of salads as well. This is a great lunch place or if you are really hungry.

Noodles & Company (927 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, IN)7
The new location in Broad Ripple is great. But however, the food is just a little bland. I guess it is a nice place to go every so often but to have it very often would get old really fast!
-
Moe & Johnny's (5380 N. College Ave., Indianapolis, IN)10
This is a great sports bar. If I watched sports this is where I would want to go. But since show choir and broadway people are my Mannings and (Well thats all I know) I will pass. But a nice place for a beer! Also a nice place to catch up with friends.

MCL Restaurant and Bakery (2121 E. 62nd St., Indianapolis, IN)5
Yes, but a place like the iron skillt. Is way better!
-
Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches (845 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, IN)1
The Veggie Subs are better than Subway! But the rest always leave me a little sad.
-
Fazoli's (6231 N. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis, IN)1
Really you can’t say too much for the food but the BREADSTICKS are Wonderful! So if you are cooking at home and want some good breadsticks find a Fazoli’s and hit the drive thru

Boogie Burger (927 E. Westfield Blvd., Indianapolis, IN)16
WOW! This place rocks! This is a great place in Broad Ripple. This is one of those special places in Broad Ripple! A nice menu of hamburgers, to chicken. You wont be sorry!!! This might be the home of the perfect burger!
And the GARLIC FRIES ARE AMAZING!
-
Donatos (2357 E. 62nd St., Indianapolis, IN)3
I don’t like this pizza very much! Many people do, but it doesn’t have that great of a taste. Very Blah. But this chain is all over the place.
-
Einstein Bros. (1055 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, IN)2
This is the best bagel shop in Broad Ripple. Nothing like a Morning Bagel before you start the rest of the day! I think this location is the best in town!
-
Bazbeaux Pizza (811 E. Westfield Blvd., Indianapolis, IN)12
They have such a great selection of salad, bread and pizza here! Everyone who comes to Broad Ripple should go at least once. The pizza are a nice size to share with friends or just keep all to yourself with extra left overs! Great Place, Great location(s)
-
Sahm's Place (2411 E. 65th St., Indianapolis, IN)1
Sahm’s have a little bit of this and a little bit of that. It is a great place to go when you are just hungry! The Taco Salad is really good. They have a few locations around the city, but I think the one in Fishers, is the best location. The others are still good, but the one in Fishers is bigger and cleaner.
-
WB Pizza (6165 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN)4
THIS IS THE BEST pizza joint in indy! Serious! Everything is good! I live very close to the place so I have had almost most of the menu, and YOU SHOULD TOO! Just not all at once or you will get a stomach ache! Also if you live around the Broad Ripple area they deliver! And they also give you a customer card to earn free things! WB PIZZA ROCKS!
-
English Ivy's (944 N. Alabama St., Indianapolis, IN)
I love English Ivy’s! It is the one place I feel you can actually walk into and not feel like you are at a Meat Market! It is very laid back, the food is very good. The people are very friendly, and not young and bitchy as at “other” bars in town You know the ones or I should say the one I am speaking of! It is just a nice time out. No naked men dancing on jumbo screens, no girls who are out on a bachlrt. party night, no boys dressing as girls….just a normal good place!
-
Claddagh Irish Pub (3835 E. 96th St., Indianapolis, IN)8
This is a GREAT Irish pub! One of the Bests! But beware of the St. Paddys Day Party! It Rocks! BUT IT IS PACKED! YOU WILL NEED TO GET TO THE PLACE VERY, VERY EARLY!
A great place for drinks!
They also have two locations!
-
Iron Skillet Restaurant (2489 W. 30th St., Indianapolis, IN)2
Oh the joys of the “Iron Skillet”
A trip to the Iron Skillet is like going to your grandmothers house for Thanksgiving. It even has the “smell” the “decor” and the “food”
This home style place is number one for Fried Chicked, Mashed Potaoes, and all the fixin’s! Not to mention the Ice Cream at the end of your meal is +A!
If you want a more HIP place, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! Since the avg age is 70 here. But don’t let that stop you! Think of it as going to a country club stuck in 1967, and nothing has changed since! That is the Iron Skillet. AND IT ROCKS! IT REALLY DOES! If you want some Grandma cooking, you will find the best here!
For a special treat get dressed up and go on Sunday!
-
Aesop's Tables (600 Massachusetts Ave., Indianapolis, IN)8
This is such a great Greek place! It is perfect when on Mass or going to the theatre and you need a little Greek!
-
Benihana (8830 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN)7
This is such a fun place to go, but everytime I go I feel like it needs to be updated! You can only see the same “Volcano” trick so many times.
The food itself is always just ok. But I feel like maybe it is just a bit overpriced for what you are really getting!
But if you are a fan of the habichi grill, you should go, just because this is suppose to be the best place to go. But if not, you can always save some money and take up knife juggling on your own!
But an update would be nice!

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre (9301 Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN)5
My friends like to call this place the Choke and Puke, only because the food is always the same and never that great. Some people I know even eat before they go!
I have never had a problem with the food. It is just Normal Buft. food, and so I usually go for the show anyway. The shows, like all theatre, depends on the cast, and the casts are always different, so you just never know what you are going to get! Sometimes you say “Oh the Roast Beef was not dry tonight, and that show was really, fun” Other nights you say “Just Another Night at the Choke and Puke”
But they usually have a great season! And the Early Bird Season Ticket pkg, is a great thing to have!
-
Rick's Cafe Boatyard (4050 Dandy Trail, Indianapolis, IN)11
I agree! The Boat yard is a great place to go in the summer! The best place to sit is on the patio around dusk. It is a good thing to call ahead for reservations before.
But to tell truth I didn’t think the food was all that great. It was just ok.
But it still gets a big yes for drinks and view!
-
Casba (6319 Guilford Ave., Indianapolis, IN)
The Casba might be tiny but it has a very loud roar! It is a place if you go a couple of times everyone will know your name! But you wont find Norm at the end of the bar! I always think Casba is a fun starter place to go or after party place, to get that last few drinks in and to have a conversation.
