St. Elmo Steak House (127 S. Illinois St., Indianapolis, IN)12
If you love horseradish this is your Mecca – the shrimp cocktail is really all I ever need to get here but I hear the steaks are good too.
-
Sangiovese Ristorante (4110 E. 82nd St., Indianapolis, IN)3
From the outside you wouldn’t think that this place was as classy as it is, very nondiscript and in the corner of a stripmall. However I was impressed by the wonderful decorating inside.
The food was well above par and the service was excelent.

Maggiano's Little Italy (3550 E. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN)7
The food here is mind blowing. don’t sit right by the fountain though unless you like being splashed on.
Do yourself a favor and have the cheese ravioli and the creme’ brulee. you won’t forgive yourself if you miss it.

Johnny Carino's (920 U.S. 31 North, Greenwood, IN)
Through the many times I have eaten here I never end up going home without something in a take out container – for the money the servings are huge, and very good as well.
-
Jillian's (141 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN)8
I have been to Jillians a few times and was never impressed with the service or the food. The best thing about it is that it has the games and the bowling alley. Those too are overpriced though.

Buffalo Wild Wings (8020 U.S. 31 South, Greenwood, IN)2
This whole place smells of urine and spilled beer. Eat elsewhere.
-
Enzo Pizza (3940 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, IN)2
Great quality pizza at dirt cheap prices with a drive-thru. Sweet.
-
Abuelo's (5910 W. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN)11
I honestly give up on this franchise – the only way it could have been worse is if I had gotten ill afterwards.
-
Abuelo's (14480 Lowes Way, Carmel, IN)4
We ate in the dining area near the bar – the bartenders were our servers. The sevice was lacking. They were really wanting us to eat quickly, on the pluss side because of the frequent visits refills weren’t a problem.
The food wasnt great but was good.
Abuelos tries to be like Carmel – looks swanky on the outside but unimpressive, abrasive and lame on the inside.

Claddagh Irish Pub (3835 E. 96th St., Indianapolis, IN)8
The Claddagh allways provides consistantly good service and an interesting decor, also, the food is great.
I love the huge wooden tables.
-
Claddagh Irish Pub (234 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN)10
The Claddagh allways provides a fun atmosphere and a great beer on tap.
I love the huge wooden tables.
-
La Bamba (840 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, IN)10
What I mean by that is that there is tongue on the menu. Be careful what you eat with a belly full of alcohol in you. If sober, enjoy freely.
-
Donatos (2357 E. 62nd St., Indianapolis, IN)3
Donatos serves pretty good pizza, all square cut. I’ve found that it’s pricey but overall better than Pizza Hut, Dominos or Papa Johns.
-
Abbey Coffee House (825 N. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, IN)16
Do not walk, RUN to the abbey and have a slice of orange heaven.

Kabuto Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar (8719 U.S. 31 South, Indianapolis, IN)6
This place is better than Benihana. I recommend the Steak Yakisoba. it is awesome.
-
O'Charley's (6111 N. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis, IN)3
The potato soup and the rolls here are great, they’re a meal in themselves.
-
Alley Cat (6267 Carrollton Ave., Indianapolis, IN)
The Alley Cat is cool because it’s a hole. this place is not fancy, cust, clean or healthy and thats why people love it. It’s small, dank, cramped and loud. coming here is a true experiernce.
-
Mousetrap Sports Pub and Game Room (5565 N. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis, IN)
This has to be the least smokey bar I have ever been in – it’s great. The bands that it attracts are pretty good and the people on the weekends are generally friendly.
-
Melting Pot (5650 E. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN)7
I never had a fondue meal until I came here, and boy was it good. The food is the best and the wine list is longer than the menu by a factor of 4. Its not cheap but you get what you pay for, when your server is good.
-
La Jolla Mexican Cantina (921 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, IN)5
I do like the food here – its very straightforward. The interior needs work, mostly the floors that bend when walked upon. Service is admittedly lame even when nobody else is in the place.
But like I said, the foods good.
